If that were the case, work engagement would be at an all-time high. Without stress or work-related anxiety, you just show up because that’s what you’re paid to do.
The viewer is then given enough interest and mystery to latch onto the slow-burning beauty with a drip of vital information
Without giving too much away, the first 2 episodes manage to get the viewer into the minds of the characters who take on Severance’s bizarre act at a secretive corporation. .
Overall, an Orwellian-Kafkaesque mind teaser, with a dash of Beckett’s Godot dialogue
The perfect ingredient for a modern journey into the unknown corporate dystopia…
